Canada Day and Entwistle’s 100th Anniversary
Canada Day is a busy day for us reporters, what with all the special events and all. July 1 was also the small hamlet of Entwistle’s (out in the middle of nowhere, click here for a map) 100th anniversary celebration. So I was sent to the community for a photo assignment. Surprisingly, many people turned up for the event, which was mainly because it was their centennial milestone. Among the events include the standard parade along with a petting zoo, street performing clowns, bouncy rooms and the works. Here is a small sample of some of the shots I took. Goofy old man leads the way for a convoy of parade floats.

This clown dumbfounds the child after performing a magic egg trick for him.

Awww. So cute, you gotta love baby animals.
